COVER ISSUE 72 OUT NOW

The Autumn 2023 issue of COVER anticipates the third edition of COVER Connect New York with an in-depth preview of the 38 premium rug brands on show. Further previews include the London Design Festival, Decorex and High Point while our review section covers the recent Las Vegas Market and Domotex asia/CHINAFLOOR.

The issue focuses on creativity in rug design and textiles, starting with an exclusive report on Tissage’s new Chroma People campaign, which reimagines the way to design and promote rug collections. We enjoy the fantastically fun Endless Epic Berlin project by Rug Star—which again places rugs into new contexts—and the beautiful textile art of Signe Emdal. ABC Italia and Amini celebrate 60 years of rug art excellence and we introduce new brands Maison Rhizomes, Unknown Carpets and Atelier Talasin.

The use of AI in design comes under the spotlight and we report on a new flax project by Mourne Textiles. Interior design and architect firm Gabellini Sheppard discusses its use of rugs and we report from WOW!House at the Design Centre Chelsea Harbour. More content comes in the shape of new collections by Beni Rugs and Christopher Farr x Commune and current exhibitions by Kustaa Saksi and Sheila Hicks.
