High Point Market preview

High Point Market starts in North Carolina this Friday.

ANDMORE at High Point Market offers retailers and designers access to more than 600 permanent showrooms and 350 temporary exhibitions across seventeen buildings. At the 2024 spring edition, the temporary shows will open on Friday 12 April, one day before the Market’s offcial opening day, running for four days and closing on 16 April.The temporary exhibitors at Suites and the curated Shoppe Object–High Point area will operate with these staggered opening days.

From 27 February, a weekly Alumni All-Star Style Spotter will present an Instagram Live for the High Point Market Pulse series, featuring Stacy Garcia, Gary Inman, Ron Woodson and Arianne Bellizaire.

Amer Rugs

Creative approaches to contemporary neutral rugs are expected in force. The handtufted Burst rug design from Studio A Home is inspired by the iconic motif found on 1970s cast-bronze doors, while the handknotted Femina collection from Luxe by Kaleen features loosely linear patterns. Obeetee will bring three new handknotted collections featuring antique- and vintage-look pile in Sardinian wool: Sienna, Palace and Tuscany. Other exhibitors of note include Exquisite Rugs (see Collections), Momeni, Art Resources, Tamarian, Surya, Rug & Kilim, Samad Rugs, Asia Minor Carpets, Bokara Rug Company, Kalaty, Creative Touch, Feizy, HRI, Eliko Rug Gallery and Nourison.

Burst rug Studio A Home

Thirty seminars, webinars and tours will be hosted during the Market. New for 2024 is ‘The (A) List Program’ showcasing home décor and design trends through social media takeovers and on-site displays. Confirmed Keynote Series speakers include the award-winning Los Angeles-based interior designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard, renowned for his broad range of styles and eclectic, sophisticated interiors; and the design legend Bunny Williams, who will share favourite projects by her interior design firm Williams Lawrence—as well as images from her own home and garden—to show how furniture and art can be arranged to make a room work both for daily life and entertaining.
