The London Design Fair (known as Tent and Superbrands until last year) is fast becoming London’s most exciting design event, based at the Old Truman Brewery. It takes place 21-24 September this year.

The London Design Fair (known as Tent and Superbrands until last year) is fast becoming London’s most exciting design event, based at the Old Truman Brewery. This year (21-24 September) it will feature some fun young rug brands like Studio Proba from New York and London’s Floor Story.

Floor Story will have a range of new designs by the likes of Catherine Macgruer (see COVER 48 Trends), Emdal Studio, Eley Kishimoto, Josie Ford and Zandra Rhodes. Dutch design group Envisions will be showing its collaborative work with Finsa, which was on display in Palazzo Clerici during Milan Design Week (see COVER 47).

Polish brand Tartaruga will exhibit a collection of fun kilim designs, Allistair Covell will bring colour to the show and some great textiles will be on offer from Stoff Studios (see COVER 48 Hotlist). Interiors by Element, Carmen Machado, Mariam Syed and Lizan Freijsen are further brands to look out for.
