Santa Fe based rug designer, Robin Gray, principal of Robin Gray Design, proudly announces her new Lace Collection of fine hand-knotted carpets in wool and silk. The six designs can be made into square or rectangular rugs and each has been conceived in three different colour schemes.
Gray explains: “As a child I watched my grandmother make lace, piquing my lifelong interest in the fiber arts. As I learned about textiles from around the world, I admired the intricate patterns of historic lacework, which was a status symbol of the wealthy.”
