COVER gives the low-down on what visitors to the 57th edition of the IHGF Delhi fair can expect
From 6–10 February 2024, the India Expo Centre & Mart, Delhi, NCR, India is set to become a hub for those seeking a wide variety of home, lifestyle, fashion and furniture products, including handwoven and hand-knotted carpets and rugs. Organised by the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH) India, the IHGF Delhi Fair will welcome over 3,500 exhibitors in sixteen halls and 900 Mart Showrooms, with themed pavilions, regional craft products along with live demonstrations, as well as seminars by industry experts.
The show has fourteen display segments which offer a full spectrum of thoughtfully curated concepts and products for importers, wholesalers, retail chains and design professionals. Beyond floor coverings and rugs, visitors can expect to find housewares, tablewares, furniture, lighting, accessories, bathroom accessories, garden accessories, educational toys and games, handmade stationery and leather bags. The growing trend of sustainable products will be addressed by a number of brands at the show, many of which have introduced innovative products using raw materials.
