To mark 20 years of COVER magazine being at the centre of the rug industry, our Autumn issue will be a special COLLECTORS' EDITION. The covetable printed issue of COVER 80 will be accompanied by a FREE digital edition, available on the websites of media...
For Summer 2023, COVER is offering the digital version of the new magazine free. Here you can enjoy the latest rug and textile news and innovations in COVER 71

The Summer 2023 issue of COVER celebrates the impressive rug and textile designs shown at events such as Milan Design Week, High Point and ICFF. We also look forward to our third edition of COVER Connect New York in September, Las Vegas Market and Domotex Asia CHINAFLOOR.
Highlights from Milan include ClassiCon’s impressive new Eileen Gray rug designs, Sardinian heritage weavings by Studio Pratha, cc-tapis’ latest striking rug collection with Patricia Urquiola and Amini’s new renditions of Tapizoo by Gabetti & Isola. The issue also reports from this year’s Xtant textile event in Palma de Mallorca and takes an in-depth look at common misconceptions concerning wool.
The issue introduces our first podcast on sustainability with London brand Floor Story and takes a look at the fabrics of Kutnia, based in Gaziantep, Turkey. Indian rug weaver Maina Devi’s nomination for the Loewe Craft Prize comes under the spotlight as do the room settings and rugs at the San Francisco Decorator Showcase. In the rest of the magazine we look at the new rug collection by Gabellini Sheppard for Warp & Weft, appreciate 2023’s trend for brown home furnishings and enjoy Ruben Montini’s embroidered textile artwork on show at Fondazione MACC in Sardinia.

Here we present COVER Conversations: 01 Sustainability in rug design with Floor Story. Sit back and listen to COVER’s new podcast about ethical rug production.
