BREAKING NEWS: Today it was announced that Domotex 2022 has been cancelled, the show will no longer be happening in January as planned. Organiser of the event Deutsche Messe AG had been planning for the Hanover show to take place in three halls in the southern part of the exhibition grounds but due to the current pandemic situation have had to cancel the show.
Sonia Wedell-Castellano, Global Director DOMOTEX, Deutsche Messe AG comments: ‘We have been fighting for DOMOTEX together with the exhibiting companies until the very end, and have been in daily communication with the industry for months. What was considered a realistic and promising Re-Start scenario a month ago, and was also well received by the market, has proven to be no longer feasible in recent days.’
Deutsche Messe AG are looking into dates for Domotex 2022 later in the year.
While Domotex will not be taking place, the Carpet Design Awards have not been cancelled and announcements about the CDA will be happening tomorrow. See COVER for further updates.
