HOT OFF THE PRESS: COVER 54

In the Spring issue, COVER 54, we are joined by stylish guest editors Milanese rug brand cc-tapis. Ahead of Salone del Mobile in April—where COVER will be distributed—cc’s Nelcya Chamszadeh, Fabrizio Cantoni and Daniele Lora offer readers their lowdown on the best of Milan: the places, spaces, designers and art that have inspired them.

Founder of SaloneSatellite Marva Griffin Wilshire, designers Studiopepe and Cristina Celestino and artist Mahmoud Saleh Mohammadi all feature in the cc-tapis’ section. The special limited edition cc-tapis designed cover will be given out during Milan Design Week, 9-14 April 2019.

In the rest of the issue, rugs come in all shapes and sizes, from our round carpet trend and Simone Post’s upcycled trainer designs for Adidas to Amadi Carpets’ Kuba collection and lips rug by Crosby Street Studios shown at Kips Bay Palm Beach. Contemporary Iranian rugs from Shahdad by Ashkiyoun sit alongside OLK Manufactory’s Ukrainian rugs and tapestries, Moooi’s latest Nordic-inspired printed carpets, and Irene Infantes’ latest rug collaboration with Spanish gallerist Pepe Cobo. Further featured brands include S&H Rugs, Raphael Navot for Galerie Diurne, Stark Studio Rugs, Madda Studio and Collett-Zarzycki for Christopher Farr.
