Tunnel by Floor to Heaven has won the Best Liked by Domotex Visitors Award 2015
As Domotex 2015 closes its halls, the winner of the Best Liked by Domotex Visitors Award has been announced. Tunnel by Floor to Heaven came out on top in the Carpet Design Awards category, voted for by visitors from the shortlisted entries on display at the fair in the Innovations area in hall 17.
Tunnel was considered a striking artwork by the judges, but did not take the title of ‘Best Modern Design De Luxe’, the category to which it was originally entered. The design, which depicts the Greenwich Foot Tunnel in London in hand tufted wool featured on the COVER 35 Hotlist, and is the first in a series of six rugs that will represent underground spaces.
