German-born, London-based architect/interior designer, Thomas Griem, has created his first rug collection for Jacaranda.

German-born, London-based architect/interior designer, Thomas Griem, has created his first rug collection for Jacaranda. The series of six designs is inspired by the aesthetics of the 1920’s, patterns influenced by from the skyscraper architecture of New York, Moroccan embroideries, and Japanese Ukiyo-e paintings.

Griem’s work has included many commercial and residential interiors in London, Majorca and Hong Kong. This is his first venture into product design.

The rugs are woven in Nepal and are made of Chinese silk and New Zealand wool.
