The Aram Gallery, London revisits it’s significant past exhibition series with a show of works by 2014 graduates from 14 universities to 23 August.
Between 1988 and 1992, The Aram Gallery Director, Zeev Aram travelled the length and breadth of the UK, visiting graduate shows and selecting the best innovations to exhibit in his Covent Garden showroom. Aram has described these as “a non-commercial exercise whose raison d’être was to provide support for young designers and to show their ideas at a crucial stage of their development.” 2014 marks 50 years since the first Aram furniture showroom opened on Kings Road in 1967 and Zeev Aram has been awarded an OBE for his services to Design and Architecture.
