Australian interior textile company Line On The Side are duo designers Kate Banazi and Joanna Fowles. The pair wanted to collaborate and produce small batches – or L . O . T . S – of limited edition pieces, whilst fostering relationships with local skilled makers in Australia. Kate studied in fashion and illustration at Central St Martins in London before chosing silkscreen as her preferred medium. Joanna trained as a textile designer also in London at Chelsea School of Art. Her work is process driven with a focus on handmade elements and mixed media, experimenting with dye, shibori, screen printing and digital techniques.

The brand is exclusively stocked in Sydney by KOSKELA  and Melbourne, by MODERN TIMES .
