Roberto Cavalli is the latest fashion designer to lend his glamorous touch to the rug, as featured in COVER 31. His range of rugs was launched by Roubini at April’s Salone del Mobile in Milan.

A RUG TO RIDE
Further to this, when architect Rick Potestio co-designed the Atelier Lapchi showroom space he had an idea. Potestio, a board member of BTA, the Bicycle Transportation Alliance of Oregon, was inspired to design a bicycle rug. The projected rug will be auctioned to raise money for the BTA who promote cycle safety. It will be woven as a 5’x7′, all wool, 100-knot quality area rug, by Lapchi.
