Whether you appreciate the work of the chameleonic artist and his multiple personas or not, the first international retrospective of David Bowie’s oeuvre currently at London’s V&A Museum, entitled ‘David Bowie is’ pays homage to a pioneering and influential performer whose music, costumes and lifestyle sustained reinvention across five decades.
