Acclaimed architect and designer, David Rockwell, has collaborated on a new collection of home furnishing and hospitality fabrics with Jim Thompson, a company known for its high quality silk textiles. The Spotlight Collection reflects Rockwell’s deep interest in the play of light and his appreciation for natural materials and textures. For the twelve different patterns Rockwell drew inspiration from a range of past projects, from hospitality and residential to theatre and stage. The collection expresses the effect of ever-shifting light on geometric and natural patterns in two colour directions – modern metallic surfaces, and rich colours found in nature.
