Jaipur Living will display rugs from three of its collections: Eden pairs fresh, vibrant colors with provincial Persian motifs for a blend of new and time-honoured style in a hand-sheared quality resulting in a lovingly worn vintage look. Someplace In Time (left) blends heritage and modern looks, using yarn spun from uncarded Afghan wool yarn to create ‘a whimsical revival of a lost era’. Chaos Theory designed by Kavi combines the artistry of hand-knotted construction with a modern expression of style. Crafted from rayon, bamboo and wool, the forms and patterns resemble shapes that emerge through a prism and were acheived using organic dyes and batik processes.

‘At COVER Connect Las Vegas, we are exploring themes of simplicity in many forms—through muted colour palettes, fewer colours in general, casual textures, or straight lines and geometric form. This bent towards simplicity introduces variety in our collection and pushes us to use shading techniques and other methods to offer uniqueness in design. Arctic Sea (right) utilises a special shading technique; as the background shades flow from dark to light, the silk design element seems to change colour against the background. Hidden City is inspired by an underground city in Cappadocia, Turkey (see Hotlist). Labyrinth is constructed in a casual and easily approachable texture, with a kaleidoscopic effect that brings depth.’ Wool & Silk
