The latest design by Dutch studio We Make Carpets is the Straw Carpet, made entirely of colourful drinking straws. Straw Carpet was made for the exhibition ‘Repeat 2.0’ which was on at the exhibition center 38cc, in Delft, the Netherlands, earlier this year. Paintings in the background are made by Rob Birza.
Many of you probably already know the fun work of We Make Carpets, temporary contemporary carpets made from everyday objects like seeds, plastic cups, flags, toy soldiers, crayons, bottles, sponges, balloons, matches, pasta and bricks.
