June is the month for design graduate shows and at the Royal College of Art show graduate Oluwaseyi Sosanya showed off his final year project 'The Structure of Protection', which is an experimental design project exploring the production and performance of three dimensional woven textile structures

June is the month for design graduate shows and at the Royal College of Art show graduate Oluwaseyi Sosanya showed off his final year project ‘The Structure of Protection’, which is an experimental design project exploring the production and performance of three dimensional woven textile structures for protective garment applications. Sosanya created a loom that can weave in three dimensions and used it to create a shoe sole. Oluwaseyi Sosanya studied Innovation Design Engineering at The Royal College of Arts and Imperial College London. He explores the territory between craft practices and industrial design and production practices.
