Camilla explains how Fischbacher 1819 changed direction in 2008, when her husband Michael Fischbacher became CEO and she took over the art direction.
We hear about how Camilla revolutionised the marketing of fabrics and about the development of the Silk Road rug collection while the conversation also moves to the emotional relationship we have to textiles and design.
Camilla Douraghy Fischbacher: ‘Creative people want to move people to realise the value of the things they bring into their homes. If you put soulless items into your place, you arent going to feel that great, but you can create a space that has meaning to you.’
