In this collection of outdoor rugs, Charlotte Lancelot continues her exploration of magnification as a visual language. Patterns originate from schematic weaving drawings—primitive warp and weft structures which, when enlarged, evolve into rhythmic, architectural landscapes.

This magnifying-glass effect, recurring throughout her practice, reveals what is usually unseen: the detail of the stitch, the gesture embedded in making. A flat weave, developed specifically for outdoor use, is enhanced with applied embroidery that reintroduces volume as a secondary layer of expression.

The result is a “stitch within a stitch” — a textile mise en abyme that duplicates and amplifies the original design. Between technical precision and poetic intention, the rugs become tactile fragments of a reimagined textile language, bringing a strong graphic presence to outdoor environments.

Warli

The Strato rug is developed from a new exclusive bi-colour rope with a mesh construction, echoing the layered effect characteristic of the accompanying basket collection.

Hand-knotted using hand-dyed wool and silk, both collections celebrate the integrity of the handwoven process. Balancing organic forms with structured geometry, the designs offer a refined and contemporary perspective, bringing depth, texture and understated sophistication to modern interiors.

Pappelina

Every Pappelina rug is crafted in Leksand, Sweden, reflecting authentic Scandinavian craftsmanship. Produced using Swedish-made, phthalate-free PVC combined with a durable polyester warp, the rugs are designed for longevity, safety, and everyday resilience.

Skilled weaving techniques and high-quality materials define the collection, resulting in pieces that combine contemporary Scandinavian design with vibrant colour palettes and exceptional durability.
