Beginning in 2027, ICFF will take place in November, with the fair scheduled for 14–16 November at New York’s Javits Center.

The revised timing is intended to better align the event with the global design calendar while encouraging greater collaboration across the industry.

Running alongside WANTED and BDNY, the move will create a larger platform connecting hospitality, residential and commercial interiors, while responding to changing travel habits, buying cycles and demand for more targeted
networking opportunities.

Nourison Glassfall collection named finalist at 2026
Hospitality Design Award

Nourison Hospitality’s Glassfall collection has been named a finalist in the flooring category at the 2026 Hospitality Design Awards.

Inspired by the visual distortion of reeded glass, the collection was selected from more than 1,100 entries worldwide.

Unveiled at BDNY 2025, Glassfall features layered textures and rich colour palettes designed for hospitality interiors. The recognition highlights Nourison Hospitality’s focus on craftsmanship, large-scale customisation and design-led innovation.

Liberty Oriental Carpets will leave Liberty London tomorrow on 30 May 2026, marking the end of the retailer’s long-running fourth-floor rug department.

Owned by Bruce Lepere, the space became known for its collection of handwoven Oriental rugs and decorative antiques sourced from across Asia and the Middle East.

The business confirmed it will continue operating independently following its departure, while maintaining its bespoke sourcing and rug consultancy services for customers.

Copenhagen is fast becoming the most exciting design event of the year, with everything within walking or biking distance and a beautiful setting. In terms of rug brands, this year familiar faces are back in town alongside a few new names to look out for.

In Kongens Nytorv, FRAMING is a group show with a big draw. This year nanimarquina will be part of the event, showing Matiz, a new collection of rugs by French designer Julie Richoz. In the same area, Linie Design will be holding the exhibition Palette Muse and Vandra Rugs’ latest designs will be at Store Strandstræde 9.

In the shopping area of Rosengård, Rezas will once again have an installation at the exclusive store  Illums Bolighus.  Moving north, Frederiksstaden is the district where Ark Journal’s Design / Dialogue event will be located. Proposed as an exclusive showcase for the future of design, creative collaborations and craftsmanship, this year will see three rug brands, Warp & Weft, cc-tapis (pictured) —who will present a ready-to-buy collection with Studio Studioutte—and Berlin-based brand Reuber Henning, who will bring the new ONO collection. Further north still, but still within walking distance, Jan Kath Design will take over the fabulous space of Pakhus 11. There will be stunning rugs, a Nepalese loom, a rug sample bar, and a lounge area where visitors can pause and experience the rugs
up close.
