Lucy Tupu collaborated with &two studio to design two custom rugs for this office and retail building’s lobby. The irregular-shaped rugs have a geometric layered look in a soft palette, complementing the architecture and contrasting with the vibrant plantlife beyond.

CADFEM HQ, Grafing

Flying Thoughts is a textile installation for the new CADFEM HQ created by Mareike Lienau of Lyk Carpet in collaboration with interior designer Britta van Mehren. It is inspired by its setting’s ‘transitions, the relationship between the interior and the curved gardens, and the people who use the conference room’.

A Rum Fellow has made a special hand-knotted rug for the recently renovated Sainsbury Wing at The National Gallery. It is positioned in Crivelli’s Bookshop on the new mezzanine floor. The colour palette draws from another Sainsbury Wing commission – Paula Rego’s monumental 1990s mural Crivelli’s Garden.
