cc-tapisFornasetti

Piazza Santo Stefano 10

At cc-tapis’s stunning showroom the collaboration with Fornasetti will take centre stage. As one of the three company founders, Fabrizio Cantoni, explains:

‘For Milan Design Week, we are focusing on this Fornasetti collaboration, as it is big: fifteen new rugs, in three different collections. There are the five rugs in the Masterpiece line, for which we used the finest threads in cashmere and silk. One of those is in a limited edition. Then there is a Bestsellers collection. At a good price point, these are hand-knotted and Jacquard, which is the new handloom technique we introduced. Then, for the ready-to-buy rugs, we included techniques we learnt in the other collections-hand embroidery, chain stitch etc. The collection includes different price points and different approaches and there is a lot of cc-tapis in it. For our showroom display of this we have teamed up with Dan Thawley, who did the first Charlotte Perriand exhibition.’
