As COVER Connect Las Vegas soon returns this January, here are our top 6 reasons to attend

Las Vegas Strip

COVER Connect Las Vegas returns on 27-29 January 2026 to Mandalay Bay Convention Center. Held at The International Surface Event (tise), we are anticipating another great year of outstanding design and handcrafted collections to complement the other types of carpet and flooring offered by exhibitors at tise.

With just two weeks to go until this year’s event, we have compiled a list of 6 reasons as to why you should not miss this spectacular showcase of the finest woven flooring at the start of 2026.

Register for your free pass to tise before 22 January by using the promo code COVERCONNECT via this link and save more than $100 per ticket!

Reason 1 – Artisanal luxury

Handmade rugs sit at the heart of COVER’s identity, and as always we have a fantastic selection of brands truly dedicated to the art of weaving.

Discover Samad Rugs’ pared-back Nordic collection in undyed Natural Ivory and Black and its one-of-a-kind Afghan rugs from the Taimany collection, produced in collaboration with ABC Italia.

Two companies are showcasing fine Afghan weavingOlker Rugs will bring Moroccan-influenced designs in Ghazni wool, while Turquoise Mountain introduces new collections: Khotan and Donegal.

A new Wool & Silk piece merges contemporary art by an artist collaborator with traditional motifs and it launches favourite designs in fresh colourways for the season. Plus, French Accents and Tamarian will deliver on point pieces that riff on traditional motifs reinvented for 2026.

Reason 2 – Fabulous flooring options

Broadloom, flatweaves, antique rugs and alternative materials are all represented by the curated selection of COVER Connect exhibitors.

Eliko Rug Gallery’s inventory spans antique, vintage and contemporary rugs and new exhibitor for 2026, Parviz Oriental Rugs adds further breadth with handcrafted Persian, Turkish, and other traditional rugs suited to both heritage and contemporary interiors.

Cella Carpet provides more broadloom and wall-to-wall solutions with a materials-led approach and Momeni launches new broadloom collections along with one-of-a-kind handknotted rugs and presents minimalist Scandi flatweaves. Design Materials Inc. specialises in flatwoven wool and sisal rugs in custom sizes; for leather, cowhide, and sheepskin rugs, Pampas Leather are the company to seek out.

Reason 3 – Adaptable design and expert advice

When clients want something completely personal, these companies can deliver! With custom capabilities and generations of rug industry expertise, COVER Connect exhibitors cater to well-established discerning retailers and gallerists as well as buyers looking to expand their knowledge in order to concentrate on new flooring and furnishing sectors. Meet with experts and discuss your requirements.

Reason 4 – Other brands at tise

While COVER Connect Las Vegas is a real hub for rugs at tise, it’s far from the only spot to find them. Several major brands exhibiting elsewhere on the show floor are worth a visit too. In the Wools Pavilion, located next to COVER Connect Las Vegas, you can find Couristan, Kaleen and Prestige Mills. Elsewhere are Global Craft, Stanton, and Rebel Carpets which always delivers a warm welcome and a refreshing approach to design.

Reason 5 – Las Vegas Market

Just up the Boulevard from Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas Market (another major furnishings show) has dates which overlap with tise this year (25–29 January) offering buyers optimum rug exposure, maximum inspiration and premium efficiency in Las Vegas this January.

At Loloi’s expansive showrooms, there will be seven new collection launches—two of them hand knotted; Couristan will showcase the Cadiz collection of high-end contemporary designs in a machine-made, hand-finished quality; and Mastour directs attention to its Modern Couture collection of wool and silk rugs, the Hide Chic collection of hide rugs and a line of natural abaca rugs too.

Reason 6 – Vegas!

Las Vegas may seem like an unexpected setting for a specialist rug event, but that’s exactly part of its appeal. Beyond the pavilion, the city offers oversized architecture, compelling exhibitions, and bizarre experiences that add an extra dimension to any visit.

Witness world-class entertainment such as Cirque du Soleil’s ‘O’at the Bellagio, Blue Man Group at Luxor, or high-energy variety shows and the bright lights of the Strip. Touring acts at venues like The Sphere and MGM Grand provide memorable entertainment after a day on the COVER Connect and tise show floor. Plus, the desert is just a stone’s throw away!
