Our fourth and final 20th anniversary edition, COVER 81 features Rug Stories: ten funny, crazy, heartwarming anecdotes from people in the industry. The issue also looks ahead to COVER Connect Las Vegas, Heimtextil, Maison&Objet, ICFE and Las Vegas Market.
The three covers of the Winter 2025 issue celebrate Floor Story‘s glorious Allotment collection, designed by Gill Thorpe and made in collaboration with Turquoise Mountain; Wool & Silk‘s Jaipur design, ahead of the brand showing at COVER Connect Las Vegas in January; and lastly Label STEP‘s work in supporting weaving, represented by a photo of weavers in Afghanistan.
In the issue, we talk to premium brands Beni Rugs, Zollanvari and Roger Oates Design, plus rug retailers Teppich Jordan and Parisa Rugs & Decor. The Collections section features new designs from Rug & Kilim, Tamarian, Knots Rugs, Deirdre Dyson and many more. Our Welcome 2026 article looks at the highs and lows of rug retail over the last twelve months, while we also report on developments at RH, broadloom updates, and the recent Kips Bay New York Decorator Show House.
