Returning to Paris’ Espace Commines, the third edition of Carpet Diem will take place from 24–26 October

Forty rugs and textiles will be brought together in a labyrinthine format at the upcoming edition of Carpet Diem, held during Art Basel and Design Miami. The show, designed by scenographer Hervé Sauvage, unites independent artists alongside companies from twelve different countries. These include Swiss textile designer and artist Christoph Hefti, who creates otherworldly multidimensional rugs; Melina Finkelstein with her unique custom felt and flat weave rugs; Nathalie Douge with rugs inspired by her background in architecture and fine art; Ukrainian designer and artist Oksana Levchenya, whose work reimagines the Ukrainian kilim through a modern lens, and Urban Fabric, a brand creating rugs which are abstracted reflections of the urban landscape.
