There are some obvious trends in and amongst the designs that our COVER Connect exhibitors will be bringing to the show in New York. Here we outline three trends.
Mirage
The word mirage derives from the French verb mirer (to look at), related to ‘mirror’ and rooted in the Latin term mirãri (to wonder at). These shimmering, mirage-like rug designs invite viewers to admire, marvel and reflect.
Rusty Hues
Colours have heated up over the last year and warmer hues like red, pink and brown are in favour. Rust is a warm earthy shade balanced between orange and brown and great for rugs, both traditional and contemporary.
Texture Neutral
