We are delighted to welcome nine new companies to COVER Connect New York this year

With over forty years of experience, this company says: ‘We are a boutique atelier defined by intention.. We choose the more demanding path-because there are no shortcuts to true luxury. Every rug is created with reverence for the earth, for the craft, and for the legacy it’s meant to carry forward.’

The patterns of the Browning Place collection (left) have a soft, speckled pattern, reminiscent of a fawn’s coat; Rhodera draws inspiration from nature’s elegant process of sandstone formation; Jinan sees the intricacy of hand-knotting transform simplicity into something extraordinary.
Sattar Rugs

Encounter exquisite, handcrafted carpets that blend tradition with modern design. Sattar Rugs blends complex transitional patterns to create timeless statement rugs. With classical antique rug patterns recognisable from Mamluk and ‘vase’ carpets, Sattar Rugs’ designs incorporate saf leaf motifs and flaming palmettes.

This celebrated family-run company was founded in 1926 and, with its third generation now part of the team, it is returning to its roots by re-introducing hand-knotted rugs to its extensive offerings for hospitality projects and residential rug retailers.

Founded in Brazil and expanding into the US market, Via Star has a signature style combining organic textures, earthy palettes and patterns tailored for moderni interiors. The Via Star group includes Ariadne, a boutique brand dedicated to handmade rugs crafted by artisans in Brazil with collections reflecting a slower, more conscious approach.

Arising out of a demand for hooked rugs in sizes and colours not found in antiques, The New England Collection focusses on classic design and style. Custom work is a speciality. It also offers Scandinavian-style flatweaves, and its Kouhi collection is a popular choice for narrow hallways and stair runners.

Outalux rugs are designed in-house in Atlanta, inspired by the patterns, colours and hues of the natural world. Designed specifically for outdoor use, hospitality or high-performance environments, the brand has developed a unique yarn and palette, using recycled materials, with the look and feel of wool.
Pacific Collection
Hand-knotted rugs bring to life ancient patterns and designs, from beautiful, antique rugs and textiles. Pacific Collection was founded in 1997 by the antique rug dealer and collector Fred Hazin, who had the vision and knowledge to recreate the designs that he admired most. High-quality materials mean these rugs aim to be the antiques of tomorrow.
This specialist software provider has developed a purpose-built platform for the rug industry, with new Al launches being presented at CCNY 2025. Designed to streamline the day-to-day operations of rug retailers, it offers to organise all elements of their businesses. Find out more in Profile, pp. 116-17.
