Continuing our ‘best sellers’ series we look at the top rugs from seven other European brands.
CF Editions (Christopher Farr)

Best-seller for CF Editions— an offshoot of Christopher Farr—is the hand-tufted Homage to The Square by Josef Albers, produced by CF Editions in association with the Josef and Anni Albers Foundation.

The Anatolian collection is a recent release by Kirkit but also a best-seller within recent sales. Inspired by antique rugs and textiles from Turkey, the thick lustrous wool is a real plus point for customers.

Focusing on individual designs, it is Algave Afternoon by Lerke Nennemann, from the RUGS FOR WATER collection with Viva con Agua, that wins the prize for M2Rugs. Simple yet striking the design is handknotted in Nepal in wool and silk.

Rug Star’s output is always make big, bold, creative statements. When it comes to the best-selling design, it is Jürgen Dahlmanns’ Koi rug that wins over the most customers. This fish depiction could almost be considered a motif of the brand.

For German brand Paulig collections Salsa Swing (above) and Salsa Base are favourites with the company’s customers. The reversible Salsa Swing has a pebble-like texture made of 100% virgin wool.

From the collection Lost in Translation, the Fantaisie Impromptu design is the most popular choice for Berlin-based brand Reuber Henning. A modern take on a traditional design is so often a winner.

Volver Studios chose two bestsellers, Ruter Army Green and Svaberg, a hand-tufted design inspired by the coastal rocks of Norway. The strongly coloured rug is designed by Volver founder Ksenia Stanishevski.
