Looking ahead to COVER Connect Las Vegas

November 27, 2024

Part 1 of the COVER Connect Las Vegas preview

Following the success of COVER Connect Las Vegas pavilion at The International Surface Event (TISE) in 2023 and 2024, the third edition will be held at Mandalay Bay Convention Center from January 28–20, 2025. Curated by COVER magazine, the boutique event brings together a select group of dynamic brands to showcase some of the highest-quality rugs on the market today—the perfect accompaniment to the other types of carpet and flooring offered by exhibitors at TISE. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be previewing what brands, both old and new, will be bringing to the show. Be sure to register before December 8 to get a free pass to the show; claim by emailing events@hali.com.

Harcourt Collection

Rug from the Saber Collection Harcourt Collection

The new broadloom Saber Collection offers three natural colourways and has the look and feel of hand stitched, embroidered material evocative of true needlepoint. The Harcourt Black Label Rug Program is the result of the brand’s longstanding, strategic partnerships with select mills renowned for their expertise in creating hand-knotted rugs. An extensive selection of samples from this line will be available this year in order to offer unparalleled customisation options. Plus, it will show alpaca fibre rugs described as an eco-friendly, sustainable choice.

Kirkit Rugs

Rug from the Anatolian Collection Kirkit Rugs

The Anatolian Collection by Muhammed Turk is inspired by the carpets of the Herki tribe from northern Iraq and southeastern Turkey, as well as the tulus (long- haired carpets) from the Konya region in Central Anatolia (see COVER 76).

Samad Rugs

Flamboyant Gold from the Opulence Collection Samad Rugs

The boutique rugs in the Opulence Collection tie together muted shades and decorative patterns in a fine construction—som woven with hand-carded wool, and others with a silk and linen blended yarn. Aegean Sapphire and Cayenne from the Mediterranean collection draw from the rich heritage of Tunisian carpets, fusing traditional craftsmanship with contemporary style. Each features textured lattice pattern with alternating rows of hand-spun wool pile and lower wool weft. The Ethereal collection is bursting with vibrant colours. Hand-knotted in Jaipur, from the finest wool, in daring colour palettes, contrasting rich shades create a sense of movement and depth that radiates energy. Aberdeen Graphite, a new addition to the Malibu collection, is inspired by Californian.
