A look back at DOMOTEX asia

The 26th edition of DOMOTEX asia was a triumph

DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR 2024 brought the worldwide flooring community together for the 26th time from 28–30 May at the Shanghai National Exhibition and Convention Centre (NECC).

1,600 companies and brands from forty different countries showcased their newest products and cutting-edge technologies in a huge exhibiting area spanning over eight halls. The show’s visitor numbers remained robust with 83,850 professional visitors coming from 117 different countries. Moreover, it registered a remarkable increase of 25% more international visitors than the previous year, reaching a total of 17,923. As with previous years, the show gave the industry the opportunity to experience the latest developments and innovations that Asia has to offer.

The large number and wide variety of visitors meant there were a range of positive responses from exhibitors, including the following from Fabian Kölliker of Swiss Krono: ‘The diversity of people was very good. For us, it’s the reason to be here, to strengthen our relationship with our existing local customers but also with new customers; to see, meet and explain them our new products and our novelties. We are looking forward to continue our journey with business and customers in China and the whole Asia Pacific region.’ The visitors to the show were equally please, with this year’s DACF boasting an overall visitor satisfaction rate of 8.9 out of 10.

DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFloor will return to the same venue from 28–30 May in 2025.
