This January we will host a virtual event to benefit, celebrate and support the handmade rug industry at a time usually occupied by start-of-the-year trade and design fairs
COVER is proud to work with many of the most well-respected rug companies in the world. On 12–15 January 2021, we will host COVER Connect, a virtual event to benefit, celebrate and support the handmade rug industry at a time usually occupied by start-of-the-year trade and design fairs. A dedicated place for our diverse professional community to do business remotely, COVER Connect will play host to a global audience of buyers, designers and enthusiasts.

Three distinct but intricately linked online platforms make up COVER Connect:
TRADE / The virtual fair at the core of COVER Connect. Featuring more than thirty-five of the most coveted international rug brands, showcasing their latest designs and new collections.
TALKS / Panel discussions, curated by COVER, on the themes of Sustainability, Collaboration and Interior Design.
EVENTS / A series of virtual projects presented by Trade exhibitors including interviews, live sales and documentary films.
We will preview each section online over the next three weeks. Documentary videos and articles will also appear as Features to provide background information on speakers and exhibitors. Follow @cover.connect on Instagram for all the latest news.

REGISTRATION
There are two types of attendee registration: one requires accreditation, the other is open to all. Both are free and open now. The Trade and Events sections are open exclusively to accredited buyers, interior designers and architects verified by COVER. Registration to attend Talks and view Features is not subject to verification.

Vanessa Brady OBE, CEO and founder of the Society of British and International Interior Design (SBID), COVER Connect media partner, said: ‘Events like COVER Connect are keeping the industry rolling by providing essential engagement between quality suppliers and the world’s most amazing designers, who are currently unable to have meetings, see or touch products. It is important to carefully choose where these events are positioned, or they will fail to attract the right calibre of designers—so the collaboration between SBID and COVER will be a perfect match in promoting the interior design profession and bringing the professional design community together.’
We look forward to welcoming you at COVER Connect!
