This edition of High Point Market is set to be like no other. Find out what to expect in this COVER preview

This edition of High Point Market is set to be like no other. The market has invested heavily in safety measures for visitors and exhibitors and extending the event to nine days will allow for social distancing and limiting capacity within showrooms. For many brands, it will be the first outing since Covid-19 struck. ‘High Point Market is our first trade show since the start of Covid-19,’ says Danny Shafiian at French Accents. ‘We look forward to welcoming attendees to a safe environment; our large showroom allows for proper social distancing practices. French Accents will be showcasing many new designs that have accumulated in the past six months. For those that can’t make it, we are offering virtual visits as well.’

Appointments will be crucial for meeting with exhibitors. ‘We will be working on an appointment basis so we can space clients to provide a safer and more comfortable atmosphere in our showroom for all,’ comments David Samad from Samad. ‘We are excited to launch four all-new collections, all highly decorative, at surprisingly affordable price points.’ The event will be an interesting indication of what to expect from trade shows moving forward.
