Californian based rug company, Emma Gardner Design have opened 5 new showrooms, bringing their total number of US retail stores to 49.
The expansion is paired with a ‘customer-focussed merchandising programme’. This consists of seventeen different brochures that are geared towards providing inspiration and suggestions of décor themes for style hungry clients. Design libraries and Pinterest pages were scoured to come up with packages that aim to increase the ease of the buying and selling experience. Colourways and motifs such as ‘Pinks and Oranges’, ‘Tropical’ and ‘Moroccan’ are amongst those just launched and further on-trend variations will be released throughout the year.
“The rug market is highly competitive and the rug shopping experience can be overwhelming,” said Patrick McDarrah, President of Emma Gardner Design. “By merchandising our rugs in a more story-telling way and with a system that designers employ in their own design libraries, we are giving our vendors a tool to better service their customers and drive sales.”
New showrooms where customers can benefit from the motivational new campaign and purchase hand-knotted Emma Gardner rugs include: Flooring Innovations in the Coachella Valley, Boxwood in Houston, Atlanta Decorative Arts Center in Atlanta, Eatman’s Carpet and Interiors, Inc. in Raleigh and Designer Rugs in Oklahoma City. Further stockists can be found on the company website.
