Developed by Shanghai-based advertising agency Wieden+ Kennedy, the campaign to promote Nike’s new Free Flyknit trainers has seen a billboard in China’s capital city get fully knitted over ten days by a team of four installation professionals knitting on safety harnesses. The idea was to illustrate the combination of the second-skin fit of the Flyknit construction and ultimate flexibility of Nike Free trainers onto a two-dimensional surface. thread by thread.
