The current exhibition at Galerie Chevalier in Paris ‘Osées les tapisseries en technicouleur de Françoise Paressant’ is a presentation of tapestries by French artist Françoise Paressant. The painter and tapestry designer’s colourful abstract work translates well into woollen tapestries, which also incorporate less conventional materials including plastic, paper, canvas, and a few touches of acrylic paint. The show at 17 quai Voltaire is on until this Saturday 29 June.
