‘The Art of the Brick’ exhibition by New York based artist Nathan Sawaya, is currently showing at the ArtScience Museum at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore till May 26, 2013. The show has taken LEGO bricks to a whole new level, each sculpture turning into a whimsical and awe-inspiring creation. Sawaya states: “My goal with this exhibition when it first debuted in 2007 was to elevate this simple plaything to a place it has never been before.”
Part of this wacky show is a carpet made of LEGO, titled ‘Reflexology’. You are invited to remove your shoes a take a walk across the surface…if you are brave enough.
The exhibition is due to travel around the USA and Asia throughout 2013.
