Hush us a seating pod by London-based designer Freya Sewell made from 100% wool felt with cushions stuffed with recycled wool fibres, making it a very green product. It can either be sat inside, creating a womb-like environment, or turned into a chair to be sat upon. Sewell adds: “Open plan offices and public buildings, CCTV, online profile sharing, cameras built into our laptops; never has it been easier for humans to connect, but what about when we want to withdraw? The ‘womb’ shape inspires very different feelings in different people; to me it is a warm, cosy space, for contemplation and rest.”
