Tony Duquette was was an American costume designer for stage and film. Duquette’s friend and business partner Hutton Wilkinson, provided Roubini Rugs with designs from the archives of the legendary artist, which inspired the New York company to create a collection of eight hand-knotted wool and silk rugs and two tapestries. Themes of the rugs vary from semi precious stones (Malachite and Pacific Coral) to set designs woven into tapestries (The Beauty & The Beast). Other themes include Eastern influences as in the Golden Sunburst, Fireworks and the Tibetan Sun.
