‎’Sheila Hicks: 50 Years’ recently opened at the Addison Gallery of American Art in Andover, MA. The exhibition is the first museum retrospective devoted to fibre artist Sheila Hicks and goes on until 27 February 2011 before moving on to other American museums. Alongside the show, a book entitled ‘Sheila Hicks Fifty Years’ will be published shortly. Sheila Hicks was the subject of one of the articles in the last issue of COVER (Autumn 2010).
