Frédérique Morrel is a French designer who combines the ideas of taxidermy and tapestry by making animal figures, both whole and part, covered in antique and modern tapestry. Her work will appear at Maison et Objet, which opens today in Paris and she will be holding an exhibition at Galerie Chevalier in Paris on 23 September – 2 October 2010. Her work also appears in and on the front cover of the next issue of COVER, which is out this week.
