Scottish design duo Timorous Beasties have once again teamed up with Brintons carpets to produce their second collaborative collection entitled ‘Timorous Beasties Rugs by Brintons’. This follows their first collaborative design collection ‘First Weave’ which was released back in 2007. The aim of the new range is to explore the possibilities of manufacturing hand-tufted rugs and the entire range will be available in broadloom Axminster as well as the hand-tufted rug format.
The designs have been inspired by natural and spiritual elements and have been divided in seven themes: Arboresque, Atholl Gardens, Aviary, Paradise Lost, Plantation, This Modern World and Tree of Life.
The collection is featured in the next issue of COVER, available from 6 September. The full range will also be on show during the London Design Festival (18-26 September) at Unit 3, 11-29 Fashion Street, London E1.
